This project was initiated as a collaborative partnership between JUDES (Just Us! Development and Education Society) and the research and design team from Acadia University led by Dr. Alan Warner and Dr. Edith Callaghan. JUDES was established in 2006 as a not-for-profit organization committed to raising public awareness about the social and environmental issues relating to international development and the benefits of Fair Trade.

Although JUDES is no longer an active organization, it has passed on its commitment to social and environmental issues with respect to sustainable food to the Just Us! Centre for Small Farms. The Centre for Small Farms is promoting, distributing and supporting Great Meals for a Change as an educational resource. For more information, please visit the Centre for Small Farms.
